This chime is named for the planet we call home, the third planet from the sun—just the right distance away to support life. It’s the only planet whose name does not come from mythology, yet we love to create stories and songs that speak of events and people that seem otherworldly, such as “Earth Angel (Will You Be Mine),” originally released by the Penguins in 1954.
